POW Advisory is my independent practice. I'm magicpete: strategist, data builder and solo XBT miner. I do the work myself, and bring in trusted people from my network when a project needs more hands.
I'm a problem solver. The work I love most is taking something complicated, distilling it to what actually matters, breaking it into steps and mapping the path to getting it done. Then building it, fast and lean.
I've done that for more than twenty years: corporate strategy at an online marketplace, analytics leadership at media and e-commerce companies, principal consultant at a global consulting firm, customer-experience engineering at an enterprise software company, and most recently founding an algorithmic-trading software company. I started out on Wall Street financing desks, which still shapes how I think about money and risk.
Today I also solo mine XBT on my own node. I trade my time and effort for XBT because that's how a circular economy gets built: you earn it, and you spend it. If it's an interesting problem, I want to hear about it.
